We are looking for talented engineers who are passionate about technology and excited to join an amazing team that is building innovative solutions for the music industry.

This opening is for a position in our Technology Department on our Client Systems team.  Members of this team develop and maintain the suite of applications used by our customers to manage their music catalog, review analytics, manage royalties, and conduct other account activities.  As a key member of this team, you will be developing amazing new user experiences for our clients across both mobile and desktop.  Success in this role requires proficiency with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js), web API and back-end service development (C# / .NET Core), and an understanding of how to develop for PaaS and serverless cloud architectures.

    What you will need to have //

    • Great communication skills
    • 5+ years of experience as a software developer in a professional environment
    • Demonstrable expertise in the following technologies and concepts:
           -  Vue.js (or at least one out of the following: React, Angular, Knockout, Kendo)
           -  Single page web application (SPA) development
           -  Web API Development
           -  HTML5 and CSS 
           -  NPM
           -  C#
           -  .NET Core
           -  Dependency injection (Autofac, Castle Windsor, etc.)
           -  NuGet package development
           -  Unit test frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, msTest, mocha, chai, jasmine, etc.)
           -  Git
    • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice design patterns, cloud infrastructure, and the following supporting concepts:
           -  Event-based Publish/Subscribe (PubSub) architectures
           -  Event queuing
           -  Decentralized data management
    • The ability to author clean, standards-compliant code
    • Solid understanding of how to design for scalable web architectures and distributed systems

    What else will be helpful in this role // 

    • Familiarity and desire to work with the following technologies and concepts:
           -  Typescript
           -  Webpack
           -  Component-based development
           -  Material Design
           -  CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS, Stylus, etc.)
           -  Vuex (or experience with other state management solutions like Redux or ngrx)
           -  Event-driven programming / PubSub frameworks (PubSubJS, Radio.js, Amplify, Postal, etc.)
           -  NServiceBus
           -  Azure App Services
           -  SQL Server
           -  Cosmos DB
           -  OAuth 2.0 
           -  SignalR
           -  AzureDevOps (formerly VSTS)
           -  Visual Studio Code (VSCode)
    • Experience with Progressive Web Application design patterns and technologies
    • Experience with web app localization
    • Experience deploying and maintaining consumer-facing applications in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS
    • The ability to work comfortably across macOS, Linux, and Windows environments
    • Knowledge of the music industry and/or related partner API’s (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Beatport, etc.)
